									<p class="text-align-justify">eFinance has signed a cooperation protocol alongside the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the National Postal Authority, and Cloud for Rain to support the digital transformation of the Cairo Court of Appeal. The partnership focuses on launching a new digital court platform, along with automated translation services and electronic case inquiry systems for civil, family, and labor cases.</p><p class="text-align-justify">The signing ceremony was attended by key judicial and government figures, including Counselor Mohamed Nasr Said, President of the Cairo Court of Appeal and a member of the Supreme Judicial Council, and Eng. Mahmoud Badawi, Assistant Minister for Digital Transformation.</p><p class="text-align-justify">The agreements were signed by Eng. Hossam El-Gouly, CEO of eFinance; Counselor Ali El-Hawary, Head of the Technical and Monitoring Office of the Court; Ms. Dalia El-Baz, Chairperson of the National Postal Authority; and Eng. Ashraf El-Sanadily, Chairman of Cloud for Rain. Several senior judges from the court also witnessed the event.</p><p class="text-align-justify">The cooperation protocols cover a range of digital services, including:</p><p class="text-align-justify">-Online Payment Integration: eFinance will provide electronic payment capabilities on the court’s translation services portal. This allows users to pay fees online using bank cards, digital wallets, virtual cards, and through a network of authorized payment agents across Egypt.</p><p class="text-align-justify">-On-Site Cashless Payment Support: eFinance will deploy Point of Sale (POS) machines and payment representatives within the court and its branches to facilitate payments via card or cash.</p><p class="text-align-justify">-Remote Payment Links: Users can also receive secure payment links via SMS for online transactions, improving accessibility and convenience.</p><p class="text-align-justify">Through the digital court platform, users will be able to request and receive various documents—such as appeal certificates, copies of appeal filings and judgments—online or via mail. Translation services will also be handled digitally, with requests submitted and delivered through the platform.</p><p class="text-align-justify">The Court’s Translation Department will provide certified translations to and from multiple languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Ottoman Turkish, and calligraphic Arabic, with official authentication stamps.</p><p class="text-align-justify">Counselor Mohamed Nasr Said emphasized that these initiatives align with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and President El-Sisi’s directives for digital transformation and sustainable development. He described the digital court initiative as a groundbreaking step toward modernizing judicial processes and improving access to justice through technology.</p><p class="text-align-justify">Ibrahim Sarhan, Chairman and CEO of eFinance Investment Group, expressed pride in the company’s role in the project and its ongoing partnerships with key government institutions. He highlighted eFinance’s extensive experience in digitizing essential state systems, underscoring the company’s capability to drive significant digital change within the judiciary.</p><p class="text-align-justify">Eng. 									<p class="text-align-justify">Egypt’s “Khadamat Misr” (Egypt’s Services Centre) opens its Mokattam branch in Cairo, offering citizens access to over 150 government services in a centralized location. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Egypt’s Ministers of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Local Development and Justice, along with the Governor of Cairo. </p><p class="text-align-justify"><br />“Khadamat Misr” is part of a government initiative designed to improve citizens&#8217; experiences with public services through digital transformation. The Mokattam center is the fourth of its kind in Egypt, following centers in Alexandria, Aswan, and South Sinai.<br />H.E Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, emphasized that the Mokattam branch is the first in Greater Cairo and aims to implement digital transformation to meet citizens’ needs, enhance financial inclusion, and improve electronic payment methods.</p><p class="text-align-justify"><br />The center provides a range of services, including documentation, real estate registration, issuing computerized certificates, renewing national ID cards, individual and family registration, criminal records, traffic services, civil status, passports, public prosecution services, commercial registry services, and social insurance. It also offers electronic payment services and a dedicated space for people with special needs.</p><p class="text-align-justify"><br />H.E Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, highlighted the Mokattam center as a significant step in administrative reform, ensuring efficient and responsive government services. She noted that the project would expand to more governorates in the coming years.</p><p class="text-align-justify"><br />Operated by eFinance, the center aims to add over 200 services across 14 centers nationwide in the future.<br />Since its soft launch, the Mokattam center has processed over 400,000 transactions with an average service delivery time of just seven minutes. Citizens can track services and get updates via the <a href="https://www.khadamatmisr.gov.eg/">“Khadamat Misr” website</a> and dedicated hotline.</p>								</div>

									<div class="single-news-body animation-end"><div class="clearfix text-formatted field field--name-body field--type-text-with-summary field--label-hidden field__item"><p class="text-align-justify">eFinance, Egypt’s national developer of digital payment infrastructures, announced its collaboration with IBM (NYSE: IBM) to grow its digital payment services and enable clients to securely make payments across hybrid cloud environments.</p><p class="text-align-justify">Through this collaboration, eFinance is leveraging the latest IBM Power servers, to upgrade its current infrastructure as a service (<a href="https://www.ibm.com/cloud/learn/iaas">IaaS</a>) and streamline business processes to optimize performance.</p><p class="text-align-justify">Currently, many of the eFinance offerings are running on IBM Power10 servers, including electronic payment systems, government POS management systems, the card management and electronic payment system for eKhales and more.</p><p class="text-align-justify">Hossam El Gouly, CEO of eFinance stated that: “As we accelerate into the future of fintech, we need the most advanced technology to underpin our ongoing digital transformation efforts to support our public and private sector clients and provide them with the best-in-class services. We are happy to collaborate with IBM and take pride in offering hybrid cloud services in Egypt in our continued efforts to fast-track digital transformation and deliver an industry standard customer experience”.</p><p class="text-align-justify">Designed to help clients operate in a secured, frictionless hybrid cloud experience across their IT infrastructure, the IBM Power E1080 servers will allow eFinance to deliver end-to-end encryption, scale business-critical applications, and accommodate high-performance transactional workloads through its flexible and secured infrastructure offering.</p><p class="text-align-justify">With a renewed focus by clients on improving sustainability, IBM Power10 E1080 servers deliver 33% lower energy consumption for the same workload when compared to the earlier Power E980 generation, and 52% lower energy consumption when comparing the previous generation of Power E880C servers, thus maximizing reliability in a sustainable way. </p><p class="text-align-justify">“As financial organizations progress on their modernization journeys, they need an approach that allows various cloud-based applications to work in concert. IBM infrastructure enables a hybrid cloud approach that offers the needed flexibility, resiliency and sustainability for eFinance to cater to their clients’ demands and accelerate their ongoing digital transformation journey” said Marwa Abbas, General Manager, IBM Egypt.</p><p class="text-align-justify">As part of the collaboration, IBM will also provide eFinance with IBM FlashSystems and IBM Software-Defined Storage (SDS), introducing streamlined administration and operational complexity across on-premises, hybrid cloud, virtualized and containerized environments. By providing advanced compression features that will allow data to be stored on significantly less desks than traditional modules, eFinance will be able to host its customer’s data and workloads more efficiently, reducing its data centers and floor space footprints by up to 40% and its energy consumption by 50%.</p></div></div>								</div>
